Lamet's Treasures has a safe and warm learning environment for all children. In
our care, we provide learning through lessons, hands-on, by example, routine,
and free play. We believe in teaching children when they are ready. Children are
encouraged to embrace themselves and others as individuals and respect
boundaries; they will learn that everyone is unique in their own way. Our
childcare program provides various learning opportunities through different
materials and environments. Children will individually learn through play,
decision-making, and social interaction with peers. We will provide security,
support, limits, and affection!

Family Child Care is not Babysitting. It's not comparable to any childcare
center. It's families in relationships with a professional care provider in an
environment that becomes, by design, a second home and a whole bunch of people
partnering, trusting, caring, and educating each other!

Meet the Provider!



Rachael Lamet is the owner and Provider of Lamet's Treasures. She began her
In-home Child Care journey in 2017, a few years after moving from Idaho to
Oregon with her husband. With a background in Early Childhood and a love for
helping those who need it most, she opened her doors in hopes that she could
positively affect her community. Since then, she has spent countless hours
completing school, fighting for providers' and children's rights, crafting
age-appropriate curriculum, and making crafts with kids. Rachael Lamet is
someone who strives for a perfect environment based on the children's needs at
the time. Rachael enjoys spending her sparse free time with her husband and dogs
at the beach!
