Members Mentors TalentDreams is an online mentoring platform that connects Members, with Mentors. We believe that community and purpose play a key role in a young person's life, and that having access to mentors can make a huge difference in the lives and development of our youth and young adults. We want everyone to have an equal chance of achieving their potential regardless of gender, race, background or any other factor. TalentDreams is committed to serving youth and young adults ages 15-22. Particularly those tackling the challenges, trials, and tribulations adolescence and early adulthood can often bring. Through our mission, we strive to empower the youth of our community to tap into their potential and develop the confidence and skills to become the leaders they were born to be. These are our Members and- we call them Dreamers. We want to create a place for the youth of our community, where they can meet like-minded peers and mentors, discover their passions and talents, and surround themselves with a network of supporters who believe in them. DREAMERS ARE AGES 15 - 18 High school (or equivalent) students. AGES 18 - 22 Young adults. AGES 15 - 22 Youth and young adults facing economic and racial barriers or emotional disconnect. HOW IT WORKS TalentDreams provides Dreamers (members) with unique access to a network of Mentors. Dreamers are youth and young adults from ages 15-22. Mentors are invaluable resources and committed to serving our community of Dreamers. Everything we do is free for Members (and Mentors!). Click here to learn more. DREAMERS Once you become a member, you can log into TalentDreams and search or preview Mentor profiles online. Profiles include information on who the Mentor is such as their industry, a brief bio, focus areas, interests, hobbies, and much more. MENTORSYNC A Dreamer can request to meet with a TalentDreams Mentor. A single conversation, at the right time, has the power to change the trajectory of your life. Sometimes, hearing someone else's perspective is all we need. MENTORS Mentors from diverse backgrounds are available to speak 1:1 with Dreamers who would like to hear about their experience, how they got to where they are, or what helped them accomplish the things they have. WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS! After over 2 years of planning and tireless work, and thousands of dollars of out-of-pocket expenses, we are now ready to proceed with our Launch Schedule. Read our Letter from the President to learn more. We need your help. In order to deliver on our mission, we're building out a website with an integrated technology platform to match Dreamers with Mentors and support their sessions, employing full-time staff, incurring all the operational expenses that come with running a small business, and investing in all of the infrastructure and critical components that will support TalentDreams to grow into its vision in the years to come. We NEED your help. Please consider donating today! YOUR DONATION POWERS TALENTDREAMS Your donation is tax-deductible. TalentDreams is a non-stock non-profit organization registered with the IRS [we are a tax-exempt organization, as defined by section 501(c)(3) of the IRS], where donors may be able to deduct contributions for tax exemptions as provided in IRC 170(c)(2) of the U.S. Tax Code. We rely heavily on our benefactors who believe in what we're doing- the individuals, foundations, and businesses, whose generous contributions provide us the operational ability to deliver on our mission. The team at TalentDreams is working hard to build something that will support the youth of our community for decades to come, and the contributions we receive are instrumental in helping us accomplish our mission to inspire, enrich, and mentor young people so they can discover, embrace, and express their talent and pursue their dreams.
