INTEGRATIVE PHYSIOLOGY AND NEUROSCIENCE

Our faculty are recognized as leaders in integrative physiology and neuroscience
research, including sleep, addiction, muscles and movement, metabolism, and
cognition. We offer undergraduate through postdoctoral education in neuroscience
and integrative physiology, and our faculty provide core instruction in the
professional veterinary medical program.

Meg Southard is pursuing a master’s degree in neuroscience.  Her research has
the potential to lead to new treatments to decrease the symptoms of opioid
withdrawal and significantly improve recovery outcomes for individuals with
opioid use disorder.
