We're building something here. Oh yea? What are you building? A high tech home. Really! What are you gonna build it with? Mud. MISSION -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our mission is to begin a journey back to the earth - or to at least move closer to the earth than we are now. With a renewed awareness of the strains we have all placed upon Earth's natural resources, we have decided that it is not to late to do our part to reduce our involvement in this mindless unrestrained race into an uncertain future. Along this journey we aspire to embrace a life closer to nature while taking pause to enjoy the beauty and aesthetics of a simpler home and a pride in having achieved a reduced footprint. The adobe style home reflects a culture in our history that has stood the test of time and has become an art form. It also just so happens that an adobe home is a naturally efficient passive solar structure providing plenty of thermal mass when properly designed and built. Our aim is to explore the modern interpretation of this renewed appreciation of the design and craftsmanship of adobe homes along with others in this thoughtful emerging community, and to explore the many energy efficient amenities of modern life while not abandoning our commitment to our mission.
