John, the oldest son of a career United States Marine, spent his early years
constantly moving before finally settling in Chicago, where he became a
passionate Cubs, Bears, and Blackhawks fan. He joined Oldcastle, North America’s
largest building materials producer, in 2001 as Vice President of Marketing for
the Architectural Products Group. There, he developed the Belgard® brand and led
the first digital marketing initiative across the U.S. In 2007, John became
Oldcastle’s first Chief Marketing Officer, where he created the company’s
internet marketing platform, oversaw 200+ branding efforts, and spearheaded
early e-commerce and social media initiatives.

In 2012, John was selected to lead Oldcastle’s enterprise-wide business
development initiative, which positioned CRH/Oldcastle as a preferred resource
for developers, architects, and general contractors around the globe. His
academic background in Petroleum Geology, combined with an MBA in Marketing,
allows him to balance art and science in his approach to construction, turning
visions into reality.

April is also a member of the leadership board for the Silicon Slopes Marketing
Chapter, where she is deeply committed to supporting initiatives that advance
women in business and leadership.

Previously an adjunct professor at the University of Utah, Colin has always had
