AFTER I BUY AN IMPRESSION KIT, HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET ALIGNERS?

About 5–7 weeks. To get the process started ASAP, we highly recommend mailing
your impressions back immediately. You should also upload your Smile Selfies and
complete your consent form and medical history on your account. If you have any
recent dental X-rays, upload those too.

After I purchase my Impression Kit, how long does it take to receive my
aligners?Plus Icon

About 5–7 weeks. To get the process started ASAP, we highly recommend mailing
your impressions back immediately. You should also upload your Smile Selfies and
complete your consent form and medical history on your account. If you have any
recent dental X-rays, upload those too.

What if I mess up my impressions or don’t do them right?Plus Icon

Don’t worry! The impression kit includes 4 total putties, and all we need is one
good impression of your top and bottom teeth. If you were able to get at least
one of each arch, then we should be able to work with it! Go ahead and send the
Impression Kit back to get your impressions reviewed. If new impressions are
needed, then we'll be in touch to get you setup with a new kit.

Can I see what I’ll look like when I’m done with Byte aligners?Plus Icon

Yes. After we receive your impressions and other information, we’ll send you a
3D visualization of your current smile and what it could look like after your
treatment with Byte aligners.

Is my Impression Kit refundable?Plus Icon

Your at-home impressions will give us the information we need to see if you are
a good candidate for Byte treatment. If you’re not, we’ll refund the full price
of the Impression Kit.



How do I know if Byte is right for me?Plus Icon

Byte is designed to work for minor to moderate alignment issues, including
correcting spacing, crowding between teeth and rotation. Your at-home
impressions will be used to determine if you’re a good candidate for Byte
aligners. If you’re not, you’ll get a full refund for the price of the
Impression Kit.

Can Byte aligners help with crowding?Plus Icon

Yes! Crowding occurs when your teeth overlap due to insufficient jaw space. It’s
a very common issue that researchers say may be due to years of evolution and
environmental change as our food became softer. We recommend getting started
with an impression kit so that your clinical team can assess the severity of
crowding and create the best treatment option for you.

Can Byte aligners help with spacing?Plus Icon

Yes! Spacing is when gaps exist between teeth. This can occur due to genetics,
such as having smaller teeth, or due to behavioral habits, such as mouth
breathing. Since spacing may differ from person to person, sending us your
impressions is the best way to get custom treatment plan prescribed for your
unique smile. If you do not qualify for treatment, we'll refund you the cost of
the Impression Kit!

Can Byte aligners help with my overbite/underbite/crossbite?Plus Icon

It depends. As there is a limitation to how much clear aligners, by themselves,
can move the teeth, Byte cannot fully correct an overbite, underbite, or an open
bite, which would require either traditional braces, attachments, rubber bands,
expanders, and in some cases, jaw surgery. Byte aligners may in some cases be
able to lessen the appearance of an overbite, however, through better alignment
of incisors and canine teeth. Get started with an Impression Kit so your
clinical team can provide the best treatment option for you!



Can Byte aligners help with my midline?Plus Icon

A dental midline is the line between your two upper front teeth and your two
lower front teeth. This line does not always align due to differences in tooth
size, missing teeth, or chewing only on one side of your mouth. Aligners cannot
correct a midline, but can improve the appearance through better alignment. Get
your Impression Kit today and see what your midline could look like with our 3D
model of your smile! If you are not a candidate, we’ll refund you the cost.



Can I use Byte aligners if I have veneers?Plus Icon

Yes! Byte can move veneers and crowns as long as they are not on your molars.
