Track Strategy



Search for a track to learn the best racing strategy to use on that track for
150cc. Some tracks have multiple equally viable strategies.

Types of Tracks

Runner: Best to start in 1st and run.

Shroomer: Best to start in the back, get a mushroom, take a shortcut, and then
run.

Drafter: Best to get draft boosts at the beginning, and then run.

Bagger: Best to stay in the back and use items to make a comeback.

Choice of Strategy

You should prefer to use the best strategy on a given track, but do not use it
every time. The best strategy at any moment depends on your exact situation,
including your items, placement, coin count, nearby threats, time elapsed in the
race, and the track. Running and bagging can both work on any track in the right
circumstances.
