CAVITAU VS CAVITAT




THE NEW CAVITAU® IS A MEDICAL ULTRASOUND SCANNING DEVICE USED IN DENTISTRY. THE
CAVITAU® CAN DETERMINE JAWBONE DENSITY AND JAWBONE QUALITY, IT RECOGNISES AND
LOCALISES BONE MARROW DEFECTS, SO-CALLED CAVITATIONS.

WHAT IS THE CAVITAU®?

The CaviTAU® shows jawbone areas with reduced mineral density and detects
inflammation around implants which are not generally shown on x-rays.
The CaviTAU® shows inflammation around root treated teeth and healing problems
in previous tooth extraction areas.

The main areas where healing problems in the jawbone appear are the wisdom tooth
areas and the area behind the wisdom teeth. Here the CaviTAU® shows if the
extraction has healed properly and if the bone is of good quality.
The CaviTAU® is the ideal device to determine jawbone health if the dentist
wants to place an implant straight after extraction.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE CAVITAU®?

Examination with the CaviTAU® is non-invasive. All radiological examinations
such as Panoramic x-ray, Digital-Volume-Tomography (DVT) or
Cone-Beam-Computer-Tomogram (CBCT) are linked to health risks due to their
radiation exposure. CaviTAU® ultrasound however is completely harmless because
it avoids ionising X-rays.

In accordance with the ALARA principle (As Low As Reasonably Achievable)
CaviTAU® should be the device of choice to check for jaw bone inflammation /
infection because it has zero radiation.

CaviTAU® is a safe and effective imaging device for jawbone examination, it
optimises treatment planning by providing fast, accurate, reliable and
reproduceable results.

WHEN AND WHY SHOULD YOU HAVE A CAVITAU® SCAN?

Research shows that jawbone inflammation can have consequences to your overall

Who developed the CaviTAU®?

The scan was developed by my dear colleague Dr Dr (PhD-UCN) Johann Lechner in
Munich, Germany.

Dr Lechner is arguably the most influential holistic dentist in Europe if not
worldwide. His research and developments (SkaSys®, Mindlink® and now CaviTAU®)
have proven that biological / holistic / integrative dentistry is based on
science.

His latest books are eye-openers for every dentist interested in the causality
of jawbone necrosis and their influence on overall health.

What is a CaviTAU® scanner?

It is an Ultrasound machine to measure bone density and show reduced
mineralisation of the jaw bone. For identification of jawbone cavitations.

What are other names for a Cavitation?

Ratner Bone lesion

NICO: If the cavitation is inducing neuralgia-like nerve pain Neuralgia Inducing
