While we are still seeing a market tightness for high-performing CFOs, we are
also seeing a paradigm of sobering expectations. The growth visions sold to CFOs
upon joining their current role is often misaligning to where the businesses are
currently aiming. 

This, naturally, is part of the business cycle. So rather than a cause for
concern, it's a call to open our eyes to the pockets of growth out in the
market. They are certainly there; just not in the obvious places we have assumed
for the last decade.
