OUR STORY

Paul and Michelle met one morning on June 18th, 2021 thanks to modern day
technology and a mutual love for coffee. After both swiping a yes on Bumble,
they decided to meet for quick hello in Santa Monica.

Within the hour, the two discovered that they both grew up in Vista, CA 2.5
miles from one another. Paul and Michelle would have gone to Lincoln Middle
School together, but Paul moved to Seattle when he was 10 so alas (and to great
relief) the two did not meet during their most awkward years. Their parents even
worked at the exact same health clinic in Vista and shared the same boss...at
different times! Uncanny.

After date 1, dates 2, 3 and 4 quickly followed that same week. Paul discovered
that Michelle was quite passionate about love and relationships and that she was
a single mom to a sweet little girl, Charlotte. Michelle discovered that there
was something very grounding and kind about Paul and that he just "felt like
home." He was quiet but sweet and kind, and not like most LA guys (sigh of
relief). Paul had never dated a single mom before and said to Michelle, "Wow,
you are a completely whole person!"

Over the months, the rocket scientist and diamond entrepreneur fell deeper in
love and after 6 months, around Christmas time, the two decided it was time for
Paul to meet Charlotte. Charlotte's first few words to Paul were "You live in
this big house all by yourself?" It was perfect. Paul met his "say it like it
is" match.

A new and beautiful feeling to all three of them, this cute, quirky little
family felt good to everyone. Love grew stronger over 2 years, and everything
just felt right. Paul proposed to Michelle privately on the beach in December
2021 and it was the easiest yes of her life. Charlotte is so excited to have
this new family and cannot wait for Mommy to marry Paulie.
