SAP Signavio helps our customers understand, improve, and transform all their
business processes – fast and in scale. SAP Signavio was created through the
merger of Signavio, the leading cloud provider for process management, with
SAP’s own process analytics product teams. Today, SAP Signavio is one of the
fastest growing cloud units within SAP and represents SAP’s spearhead for all

The Team:  

The Suite Experience Services group is part of the Platform Group, one of five
groups in the engineering department of SAP Signavio unit. We value consistency,
modularity & re-usability, as well as simplicity. Join a passionate, rapidly
growing, cross-functional team that is developing exciting new solutions to
accelerate our customer’s Business Process Transformation.  

Our focus is to create customer facing applications which work across all SAP
Signavio products enabling users to execute their business process
transformation seamlessly while providing a streamlined user experience. 

We collaborate closely with all SAP Signavio Product & Engineering teams to
jointly ensure our customers can execute their jobs to be done throughout the
entire SAP Signavio Transformation Suite. 
 
The way we work: 

You will work closely with a diverse group of people in a feature team including
products owners, designers, frontend, and backend engineers. Our teams work
self-organized and agile. They are supported by dual leadership of a People
Lead, with people development and leadership expertise, and a Functional Lead,
with role-specific expertise. We focus on enabling people and creating the right
environment for them to thrive. 


What you will do: 

 * Build and iterate new product functionality which allows users to
   collaboratively transform their business processes.
 * Contribute to the entire cycle of product development, from first ideas and
   brainstorming sessions to continuously delivering improvements based on
   customer data.
 * Solve technical challenges of high scope and complexity building
   micro-frontends which are used in the entire Signavio Suite.
 * Work closely with an experienced feature team including products owner,
   designer, frontend and backend engineers in an agile setup.
 * Build on a modern cloud-native stack and infrastructure.
 * Learn, collaborate, and guide other developers.


Requirements: 

 * BS/MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical
   field.
 * 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
 * Solid foundation in computer science with strong competencies in data
   structures and algorithms.
 * Excellent programming skills in Kotlin / Java and JavaScript/Typescript.
 * Solid understanding of software design patterns and principles.
 * Solid experience with React and NodeJS. Knowledge of API query languages like
   GraphQL is a plus. 
 * Solid experience with modern, cloud-native Java frameworks like Spring or
   Micronaut.
 * Solid understanding of the Micro-Frontend pattern (webpack module
   federation).
 * Solid experience with relational database management systems (MySQL,
   PostgreSQL). Existing experience with database schema change management tools
   like Liquibase or Flyway is a plus. 
 * Experience with distributed systems and their observability.
 * Solid experience in designing, developing and documenting RESTful APIs.  
 * Solid experience in writing automated tests in Java / Kotlin and Javascript /
   Typescript.
 * Experience in working with containerized applications and container
   orchestration tools (Kubernetes). 
 * Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
   Existing experience with a pipeline orchestrator like Jenkins, CircleCI, or
   Azure Pipelines. Knowledge of continuous delivery tools like ArgoCD is a
   plus. 
 * Ability to communicate clearly and concisely about complex technical,
   organizational and/or architectural challenges and propose iterative
   solutions. 
 * Motivation to work in an agile environment.
 * Proficient English language skills, both in written and verbal form. 
    

Nice to have: 

 * Experience using infrastructure as code (IaS) for provisioning and managing
   infrastructure components in cloud provider environments (e.g.Terraform, AWS
   CDK).
 * Experience with SAP’s Business Technology Platform.
