CROSS COUNTRY GENERAL MEMBERSHIP

for junior skiers (17 & under) / $55.00

By having a joint membership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, you gain entry
privileges, points, and Divisional rankings at specific regional competitions
like the CXC Junior Cup and CXC Adaptive Cup.

Should a skier holding this membership type qualify for the Jr. Nationals, an
officially sanctioned U.S. Ski & Snowboard event, they will be required to
upgrade their membership to the Cross Country Competitor (U16+) type in order to
gain access to the event.

THIS MEMBERSHIP DOES NOT INCLUDE THE U.S. SKI & SNOWBOARD NATIONAL RANKING LIST
(NRL) POINTS.

CROSS COUNTRY COMPETITOR (U16+) MEMBERSHIP

for junior and senior skiers (14 & over) / $165.00

By having a joint membership with U.S. Ski & Snowboard, you gain entry
privileges, points, and Divisional and National rankings at specific regional
and national competitions like the CXC Junior Cup, Junior Nationals, Senior
Nationals, and SuperTour.

For dedicated skiers, obtaining this type of membership early in the season
offers significant advantages, as it enables the accumulation of U.S. Ski &
Snowboard points. These points are essential for securing favorable race seeding
at sanctioned regional and national events. By consistently improving
performance, skiers can earn lower points, which grant better starting positions
in both Junior National Team qualifying races and the Junior National Nordic Ski
Championships. This can be crucial, particularly in mass starts.

Moreover, high school upperclassmen aspiring to ski in college should note that
college recruitment can also be influenced by having low U.S. Ski & Snowboard
points.
