1. Important Update: Change in World-Check Notification Email Domain

We would like to inform you that the email domain for World-Check notifications
will be updated on 3 October 2024.

Old domain: no-reply-world-check@refinitiv.com

New domain: no-reply-world-check@lseg.com

This change will affect the following World-Check notifications:

World-Check: Keyword List Update

World-Check: Identification Number Update

To ensure uninterrupted receipt of these notifications, we recommend that you
contact your IT department to whitelist the new domain
no-reply-world-check@lseg.com.
 
2. Data update: Struck off companies from India

Products impacted: LSEG World-Check One, LSEG World-Check One – API, World-Check
Data File 

We have commenced with the changes to the World-Check records of companies
struck off by The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) in India and have amended
the approach to processing the existing records:

Activity: Deactivation of records (in progress)
Activity start date: 9 September 2024
Total records to be processed: ~100,000 records
Daily processing rate: ~5,000 records/weekday
 
Activity: Updating existing records
Activity start date: 23 September 2024
Total records to be processed: ~39,000 records
Daily processing rate: up to 10,000 records/weekday
Update category*: C6 (previously C4)
 
For the new records, we will begin processing smaller batches of 2,000-5,000
records per day and gradually ramp up to volumes that will not exceed 10,000 per
day as originally communicated.

Activity: Creation of new records
Activity start date: 01 October 2024
Total records to be processed: ~167,000 records
Daily processing rate: up to 10,000 records/weekday
Update category*: NULL
 
A list of UIDs will be available upon request.
 
3. Data update: Reactivated records will now have a ‘NULL’ update category (only
applicable to Advanced Subscription clients)

Products impacted: LSEG World-Check Data File

We previously announced that the update category for any reactivated World-Check
record would no longer be published with the highest value field change, but
instead with a ‘NULL’ update category value as per current standard for new
records.

As requested, we are moving the effective date from 23 September to 3 October
2024.

This enhancement will allow Advanced Subscription customers to (re)screen
previously active records in the same way as newly created records.


4. Data delivery update: Citizenship for Overseas territories

Products impacted: LSEG World-Check One, LSEG World-Check One API, World-Check
Data File 

In response to feedback received following the August data update notification
regarding the significance of the additional citizenship value for records with
Overseas territories, we will be adjusting our approach as follows:

Start date: 23 September 2024
Total records to be processed: ~17,000 records
Daily processing rate: 500 records/weekday (previously 10,000 records)
Update category*: C1 (previously C6)
 
A list of UIDs will be available upon request.
 
*Only applicable to Advanced Subscription clients.
