The sleek, ergonomically designed Vortex® Diamondback HD Binoculars are fast to
get on target, and comfortable to hold for extended periods of glassing.
Featuring multiple anti-reflective coatings on all air-to-glass surfaces and
multi-layer prism coatings for enhanced light transmission and bright, clear,
color-accurate images, so you can pick-out game from brush, and extend glassing
time at dawn and dusk. An ultra-wide field of view lets you cover maximum ground
quickly and efficiently. Vortex binoculars are argon gas-purged and O-ring
sealed for waterproof performance, and to prevent internal fogging over a wide
range of temperatures. A center focus wheel adjusts the focus of both binocular
barrels at the same time, and twist and lock eyecups provide comfort with or
without eyeglasses. The rubber armor exterior is finished in TrueTimber Strata,
a versatile multi-environment pattern that maximizes up-close concealment, while
using contrasting light and dark colors to disrupt silhouettes at long

really better than the old Diamondback. I have two old pair that the

Great Binoculars. Returned Crossfire as Diamondback are better made. Ordered
online. Store filled order with display model. Customer service to replace
with new unit from warehouse. Asked for call from store manager. Never
happened. Went to store to exchange. Inventory showed six in stock but not
one set aside. It took C/S almost two hours to locate new unit. Asked for
Store manager ‘Nick’ for call. Never happened. Taking this up the ladder as
horrible customer service and worst response from management.

Great question - the Diamondback HD binoculars do not have "ED" glass,
but they do have enhanced anti-reflective optical coatings for
increased light transmission. This gives the new HD binoculars a
brighter image, improved optical resolution, and a more neutral color

in place in the Diamondback HD series. However, you should only have to
set this once to your eye. If your optic is coming out of focus or the
diopter ring is rotating, please give us a call at 1-800-4VORTEX ext. 6
and we'll get you setup to send that in for service.
