WHO WE ARE

Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Belém do Pará, 100% Amazonia is truly an
authentic Amazonian company. Our focus is on the preservation and vitality of
the forest. We also value social and environmental responsibility which is
reinforced in our day to day of doing business.



After many years working in the acai berry supply chain, with expertise in
international trade, Fernanda Stefani and Joziane Alves started their own
endeavour to bring the Amazon beyond Latin America frontiers. Ten years later,
100% Amazonia has grown into a small but impactful business based in the Amazon
Delta, employing more than 15 full-time staff members and contracting
specialists on a project by project basis.



In everything we do, we take ethical action, walk our talk and above all, drive
positive change.

WHAT WE DO

Located in the Amazon Delta, 100% Amazonia specializes in renewable non-timber
forest products and supply chain development of unique ingredients for food,
beverage and cosmetics industries. 

 

We bridge the gap between local communities and international customers;
managing the trade of raw ingredients and exporting these natural forest
products, all the while, promoting sustainability in the Amazon.



We hold organic accreditation within the EU, US and Korea. In 2015, we achieved
the ISO9001 certification for quality management, ensuring standardized and more
efficient processes. Since 2009, 100% Amazonia has become a reference in social
entrepreneurship in Brazil and currently export to 60 countries.

CREATING SUPPLY CHAINS

Through our experience, we make forest conservation real, added to significant
business growth in a global market. We develop supply chains that involve
traditional and indigenous communities in the Amazon, encouraging the extraction
of goods by those who live, respect and know the region.



Quality, Stability and Regularity are key markers when considering supply chain
models in the Amazon, in effect, respecting the limits of what nature provides.
It is essential that we forge genuine partnerships and work in a way that
benefits the suppliers in the long-term.

THROUGH THE ARYIAMURU PROGRAM

In the original Tupi-Guarani language, Aryiamuru translates to "the power of the
mother", a sentence that perfectly captures the essence for the Amazonian
culture; Aryamuru values memory and Nature, in other words, ancestral knowledge.



The program central objective is to moderate fair trade and socio-environmental
activities, involving the extraction of resources traded between 100% Amazonia
and the traditional communities of the Amazon.
