POSTGRESQL EUROPE

Welcome to PostgreSQL Europe, the "umbrella group" for PostgreSQL User Groups in
Europe and for users in regions that don't have a local user group. Our goal is
to promote the use of PostgreSQL in Europe. We do this primarily by assisting
local user groups to promote the product locally through conferences and other
advocacy, as well as running European-wide conferences and other activities.

PGDAY LOWLANDS 2024: THE SCHEDULE IS NOW LIVE

We've just published the program for PGDay Lowlands, taking place September 13,
in Amsterdam. We received a good number of talk submissions and our Program
Committee had their work cut out for them creating the schedule. Our Call for
Lightning Talks is still open until August 10.

We'd like to thank Afsane Anand, Carole Arnaud, Chris Ellis, Gerard Zuidweg, and
committee chair Boriss Mejias for reviewing all talk proposals.

We invite you to the 14th annual PostgreSQL Conference Europe that will take
place in Athens on October 22-24!

The schedule for the conference has now been published, and as you can see,
we’ll have a great, diverse speaker lineup this year:

PGDay Lowlands offers (free) scholarship tickets to attendees from
underrepresented communities, folks currently looking for employment and
students. If you think that you are eligible, please send an email to
team@pgday.nl and we'll get back to you as soon as possible.

While we cover your ticket, we can't support your travel or accommodation. We

PGDAY LOWLANDS 2024: CALL FOR LIGHTNING TALKS NOW OPEN!

July 9th we closed our CfP (Call for Papers), and while we still have your
attention we wanted to open our Call for Lightning Talks (CfLT) right away.
Lightning talks are a fun but tricky format to get right. Telling a story in no
more than 5 minutes is no small feat, but when done right they're a great way to
get the hallway discussion going!

short, 2-3 sentences abstract for what you will want to talk about, as well as
