ABOUT


MUKHYAMANTRI JANAJATI JEEVIKA MISSION SCHEME

Mukhya Mantri Janajati Jeevika Mission” (MMJJM) programme of the Government of
Odisha, spearheaded by the ST & SC Dept. aims to promote farm, off-farm,
non-farm-based livelihood production clusters under the scheme “ST Livelihood
and Income Generating Programme” to ensure access to improved and sustainable
livelihoods for tribal people in all the Tribal Sub Plan Blocks of Odisha. The
Programme aims to cover 17 Lakh households in different phases and in the first
phase around 1.5 Lakh tribal households will be covered in the
first three years.

MMJJM OUTCOMES



 * ✔ Doubling Of Farm Income Of 100% Beneficiaries Over A Period Of Three Years.
 * ✔ Area Under Cultivation Will Be Doubled.
 * ✔ 100 % Of The Farm Families Adopting Better Package Of Practices Due To
   Project Intervention.
 * ✔ 50% Increase In Productivity Of The Crops Taken Under Cluster Development
   Programme.
 * ✔ 50% Of The Cluster Areas Should Be Irrigated.
 * ✔ 50% Of Cluster Area Under Double Crops I.E. Kharif Followed By Rabi Crops.
 * ✔ 50% Increase In Area Under Cultivation In Both Rabi & Summer Season.
 * ✔ Doubling Of Cropping Intensity.
 * ✔ 40 % Of Wasteland, Fallow Lands & FRA Lands Of The Cluster’s Villages Are
   Brought Under Cultivation.

14871 HHs in 7565 acres under Rabi Agri in 140 Mission Jeevika Clusters

1002 JJs selection completed

2.48L Tribal HHs Recovered

7000 HHs under livestock rearing activity

1096 JJPs Formed

1480 Clusters Identified

10537 HHs in 5970 acres under Summer Agri in 328 Clusters

68308 HHs in 31480 acres under rabi Agri in 858 Clusters

267cr plan submitted & 32cr plans approved under MGNREGS
