AN EMPLOYEE OWNED COMPANY THAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE DEVELOPMENT OF A CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION AND EFFICIENT DIGITALISATION OF OUR INFRASTRUCTURE SEGMENTS. WE SEEK TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS SOLVING THE ENERGY TRILEMMA AND THE WATER TO ENERGY NEXUS. WE DEVELOP BALANCING SERVICE PROVIDER (BSP) AND DEMAND SERVICE PROVIDER (DSP) ENERGY STORAGE ASSETS. WE DEVELOP HIGH EFFICIENCY DATA CENTRES. PreviousNext WHAT WE DO WE SEEK TO CONTRIBUTE TOWARDS SOLVING THE ENERGY TRILLEMA AND THE WATER TO ENERGY NEXUS. ENERGY SECURITY The effective management of primary energy supply from domestic sources, the reliability of energy infrastructure, and the ability of the grid stakeholders to meet current and future demand. ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY The achievement of supply and demand side energy efficiencies and the development of energy supply from renewable and low carbon sources. ENERGY EQUITY Accessibility, affordability, and long-term visibility of energy supply across all consumer segments. WATER TO ENERGY NEXUS We lower the water usage of energy and increase energy output, leading to a more eficient water to energy ratio. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Price, quality, safety, reliability, and security of supply of electricity; and the reliability, safety and security of the national electricity system. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- IKENGA IS SUPPORTED BY SUN CAPITAL OÜ (SUNCAP.EU), A PASSIVE INVESTOR IN THE ENERGY TRANSITION AND DIGITALISATION. Solving the Energy Trilemma requires a more holistic approach to power systems, which directly impact long term visibility and fair pricing of electricity, energy security, and the pace of the energy transition as a larger, more complex, yet more efficient power system. Digitalisation adds a layer of complexity. In addition to Power Quality, the efficiency and growth of digitalisation requires high efficiency data centres infrastructure which are driven by significant improvements in Data Centre design resulting in optimised Water to Energy Nexus and Energy Management. GEOGRAPHY TEAM About Cedric More than 21 years of experience in infrastructure, project finance and alternative investments, mainly in the energy transition sector. Prior to co-founding Sun Capital Development Partners and Ikenga, I was leading project finance and energy transition at Duff & Phelps and held executive roles in renewable power generation companies. Within the renewable power generation segment, I have developed, financed, and sold in excess of 1GW in Solar PV, small Hydro, and Wind onshore capacity. I currently share the direction of Ikenga with my position as Senior Director at Finenza, a boutique advisory firm with a significant track record in fund placement and impact driven real asset advisory. I have a PP&E from Oxford University and an MBA from London Business School. About Gianluca As an Environmental Engineer specializing in sustainability, I hold a Master's in Engineering for Environmental Sustainability and a degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering. My career began with the construction of photovoltaic parks across Southern Europe, where I gained invaluable experience in green energy solutions. In the past three years, I've managed permitting and development for over 2 GW of PV and battery energy storage systems. Now, as Project and Country Manager at Ikenga, I focus on delivering impactful and sustainable energy projects. About Jorge Pablo During my degree in Mechanical Engineering, I had the opportunity to attend the Solar Energy Institute of Madrid where I was able to learn about the progress and growing interest in photovoltaics. Since then, my connection to renewable energieshas not stopped. I studied a Master in Renewable Energies and Environment, and I have worked since then in companies involved in different aspects of photovoltaics and storage projects: a tracker manufacturer, a developer and now, in Ikenga where I head the company’s operations. About Alicia Graduated in Finance and Accounting from the University of Valencia. After finishing my degree I started in banking where I carried out tasks related to administration and accounting. Also, I have experience in the industrial sector. Attracted by the world of renewable energies, I started in Ikenga giving support in the accounting department. My great interest in the company operations leads me to want to expand my knowledge; as an example of this nowadays, I support the technical area in the search for land opportunities.
