PROVISIONAL AGREEMENT FOR THE RENEWAL OF THE APOC COLLECTIVE AGREEMENT The
Association and the Company have reached an interim agreement on the extension
of the collective agreement between the parties. Recognizing the need to
continue the transformation of Canada Post into an e-commerce and parcel company
that must compete for victory, the parties are pleased to have negotiated this

The parties returned to the bargaining table on Monday, March 16, 2009 for two

Collective Agreement “The conclusion of this agreement well in advance
underscores the relationship of respect and cooperation between the parties,”
said Deepak Chopra, President and Chief Executive Officer. Canada Post and the
Canadian Postal Service Association (APOC) signed a new three-year collective
agreement on November 27, four months before the current contract expires. APOC
members ratified a provisional agreement in early November. The new agreement
will enter into force on 1 August. April 2018, immediately after the expiry of
the current agreement. It is valid until 31 March 2021. This provisional
agreement is subject to ratification by the workers represented by the
association. The agreement includes annual salary increases and improvements to
health services, Canada Post said.

Recognizing the need to continue the transformation of Canada Post into an
e-commerce and parcel company that must compete for victory, the parties are
pleased to have negotiated this preliminary agreement before the current
agreement expires. Colleagues, On January 16, 2013, the association wrote to the
company requesting parity for our association members with respect to the
collective agreement recently signed by the Canadian Canadian Union of Postal
Workers. Although we recognize that we are not currently in negotiations and
that the current collective agreement will not be concluded until September 31.
