Hi ,  

From geopolitical tensions and climate change to labour shortages and inflation,
there’s a lot going on around the world.
 
With that in mind, the supply chain landscape is becoming increasingly complex
and demanding, driven by technological advancements, shifting consumer demands,
and today’s environmental considerations. In response, businesses need to be
more agile and adaptable to effectively manoeuvre through these challenges and
ensure they’re able to fulfil the needs of their customers.
 
Yet the silver lining is that now it’s more accessible and easier than ever for
businesses to navigate this challenging landscape with cost-effective
collaborative software solutions.
 
For example, AI (artificial intelligence) and ML (machine learning) are being
used to improve distribution in several ways, including optimising inventory
levels, predicting demands, and improving shipping routes. 3D printing is also
on the rise, specifically how it can support within the manufacturing sector by

and helping to improve delivery times. Furthermore, 3D printing is also being
used across the bakery industry by creating custom cake decorations!

What does the (Good Manufacturing Practice) GMP Certification in China mean for
you? 🔍

Chinese authorities have shifted their approach to facility certification,
impacting businesses worldwide. In late 2019, changes were announced, but the
onset of COVID-19 led to extensions of certificates in many regions, including
Europe, where they’re now valid until December 2023.
 
Notably, GMP and GDP certificates issued by EEA authorities have been
automatically extended until the end of 2023 due to pandemic-related
restrictions. However, compliance with GMP/GDP and legal obligations both remain
essential.

The world’s largest pharma event at the Fira Barcelona, CPHI has whittled down
