ANNOUNCEMENTS


2023-03-20

An issue was found with some files where unicode characters in the folder name
was causing the charts to not display in-game for Windows users. If you're
playing on MacOS or Linux you're likely not impacted. Visit the Downloads page
to grab the latest pack.
Charts obtained from the following unlocks are also impacted and can be
re-downloaded from the Downloads page.

ITL ONLINE 2023

The International Timing League Online 2023 (ITL Online 2023) is an online event
for StepMania that is focused on technique and timing. The event is organized by
the International Timing Collective (ITC) and features charts from members in
the community.
Chart difficulties start as low as ITG 7s, so whether you're an expert or just
starting out there should be something here for everybody!

GETTING STARTED


REGISTRATION

To register for ITL Online 2023 log in with your GrooveStats credentials. If you
don't have a GrooveStats account you can register for one here.


SETUP

This event requires the following:
 * A 4-panel dance pad or arcade machine
 * ITGmania 0.6.0 or newer with Simply Love 5.2.1
 * A local profile configured with a GrooveStats API key


DOWNLOADS

After logging in you will have access to the Downloads page where you can get
the ITL Online 2023 base pack as well as any charts that you've unlocked.
After downloading the ITL Online 2023 base pack you can install it to your
ITGmania directory.

SUBMITTING SCORES

If you've completed the above requirements then scores will submit to ITL Online
2023 automatically after playing charts from the pack.
Scores can also be submitted manually on the My Scores page.


OVERVIEW


DATES

 * Starts: March 19, 2023
 * Ends: June 19, 2023 11:59 AM

Although rankings for ITL Online 2023 were finalized as of June 19, 2023 the
event is still open to score submissions for those who want to continue to
participate even after the event has ended.


RULES

 * ITL Online 2023 will be using In The Groove (ITG) timing windows with 15ms
   FA+.
 * Decents and Way Offs are required for charts difficulty 18 and up. Otherwise
   they can be disabled.
 * Any gameplay modifiers that don't impact step or mine counts are permitted.
   This includes speed modifiers, turn mods (including Left and Right), and
   visual modifiers like screen filters or disabling backgrounds.
 * Charts labelled as No CMOD must be played on X-mod or M-Mod.
 * Charts must be played on 1.0x rate.
 * Mashing deliberately to get through sections of a chart is strictly
   prohibited.
 * Scores attained before the event start date cannot be submitted.
 * Scores on unlockable charts must be attained after the chart is unlocked to
   be considered valid.


SCORING

Throughout the duration of the event entrants will play songs out of the ITL
Online 2023 song pack. Each song is worth a different number of points based on
passing, timing, and technical difficulty.
Entrants are rewarded with points if they lifebar pass the song. Scores with
higher timing accuracy will be rewarded with more points.


RANKING

Entrants are ranked by a sum of points earned from their top 75 scores.
The latest rankings can be viewed on the site Leaderboard.


UNLOCKS

Unlockable content is offered in addition to the base pack. New charts can be
obtained by completing all of the requirements on an unlock.
A single requirement is considered "Complete" if one of the following conditions
is met.
 * 85% EX score
 * 5 passes

An exception is made for any requirements on stamina unlocks (Stamina I, etc...)
where a single pass is sufficient regardless of the EX % score.


SCREENSHOTS

Screenshots are required for any scores that are not submitted automatically
in-game via the GrooveStats integration.
The ITL Online 2023 admins reserve the right to request screenshots or videos of
scores. Scores may be subject to removal if proof is not provided.
