ONLINE BLOOD BORNE PATHOGEN CERTIFICATION

This training is the result of over two decades of research, involvement and
instruction by dedicated, volunteer Tattoo Artists. The Tattooist’s first and
most comprehensive, in-person Blood Born Pathogens Course (since 1992).

The Alliance of Professional Tattooists Inc. provides body art industry-specific
Blood Borne Pathogen (BBP) training classes, which are available both in person
and online. The classes are designed to provide:

 * Basic understanding of blood borne pathogens
 * Common modes of transmission
 * Methods of prevention such as cross-contamination
 * And other critical information for body art practitioners and shop owners

Certification is required to work in most body art shops and shows.
Understanding how to control exposures in your shop is also essential in
assuring the safety of yourself, your clients, and your co-workers.

By completing our BBP class, you will fulfill the registration or licensing
requirements for BBP training. Additionally, you will become familiar with the
Exposure Control and Infection Prevention Plan, which is required for all shops
under OSHA’s Bloodborne Pathogens Standard 29 CFR 1910.1030.

ONLINE CERTIFICATION IS ONLY $24.99

You will be taken to PayPal where you will make your payment, then will be
redirected back to this site to view the study material. After viewing the
material, you will begin the test. There are 25 multiple choice questions, you
may go back and review the material at any point during the test. There is no
limit on how many times or how often you can take the test, but you will be
charged $24.99 for each separate attempt.
