AROUND BUTE SHAKEDOWN

Left Portavadie on the 9th April with a cold following breeze down Loch Fyne and
south to Glencallum Bay. After soup it was north into a stiff NW breeze to Ascog
where we dropped the foresails and motored into Rothesay Bay for the night,
anchoring in 10m off the sailing club. Peaceful and cold.

THE CAMPBELTOWN TRIP

Bill and Graham headed down to Campbeltown on the 13th October. Only a couple of
tacks needed from Portavadie to Campbeltown Loch. Lamb curry for lunch.
Interesting company in the marina at Campbeltown reviewed by Graham. It turns
out to be an autonomous mine sweeper with some sort of sonar/torpedo shaped
