GLOBAL SPOTLIGHT

“My favorite thing about going to Seoul, South Korea is understanding different
customs and how closely related it was to growing up by Latino parents. A core
memory of mine was visiting the National and Historical museums in Korea with my
art classes. I was utterly amazed at history that is so well preserved and kept
alive and it inspired me to do more research on the history of my family and
where they originated from.”

"Study abroad was incredibly amazing for me. Beforehand, I've never had the
opportunity to travel abroad and I've always known it was something I needed and
really wanted to do. Being in Switzerland was so special and I absolutely adored
the country. I really enjoyed my classes and learning French was fun. I made
many friends that I will most definitely keep in touch with, as we shared such
special moments together. I would not have changed anything about it because I
enjoyed every little part of the experience."

"My biggest takeaway was simply learning more about myself along the way. This
experience allowed me to get out of my comfort zone in so many ways. First, I
was speaking an entirely different language, challenging myself constantly.
Second, I was quickly adapting to a new and exciting culture."

“My time in Denmark this summer bore some of the most thrilling, impactful
experiences of my life. In the midst of all the excitement, I was still scared
at times and had some lonely days. What changed most was my ability to push
through and accomplish things in the midst of fear and doubt. I have grown
immensely in my self-confidence and already want to travel again.”
