EPA GRANT SUPPORTS FURTHER DEVELOPMENT OF STEEL INDUSTRY EPDS

“American structural steel is already the most transparent, sustainable material
on the market today--and thanks to a grant from the U.S. Environmental
Protection Agency, specifiers and the public will have even more accurate data
available to help them choose structural materials that protect the planet both
today and tomorrow,” said Brian Raff, AISC’s vice president of sustainability
and government affairs. July 17, 2024

PUBLIC REVIEW NOTICE: CODE OF STANDARD PRACTICE FOR STRUCTURAL STAINLESS STEEL
BUILDINGS

A draft of the next edition of the AISC Code of Standard Practice for Structural
Stainless Steel Buildings (AISC 313) is now available for public review and
comment. The next edition of AISC 313 will supersede the 2021 version and is
anticipated to be finalized in 2025. July 12, 2024
