ALEXANDRA MIRANDA

Psychologist and Rehabilitation Counsellor

B OK Psychology is managed by Alexandra (Alex) Miranda, a registered
Psychologist and Rehabilitation Counsellor with more than 20 years’ experience
in Allied Health.

Over the past decade, Alex has worked as Rehabilitation Counsellor for private
and Government organisations. She has assisted people with a work-related injury
or a permanent disability find sustainable employment in the open labour market.
More recently, Alex has worked with children and adolescents in schools as a
School Psychologist and as an assessor. Alex is proficient in assessing and
delivering treatment programs to young people with emotional or special needs.

Alex is a Member of the Australian Psychological Society and a registered
provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) offering
Therapeutic Supports.

Alex is also fluent in Spanish.
