 Finding a preschool that develops your child's emotional, intellectual, social,
and creative needs is an exciting experience.

 

Appleland Playhouse is established in 1988, with over 30 years of teaching
history. Our preschool offers Infant Care services (2 – 18 months old) and
preschool education to young children (18 months – 6 years old). Our rich and
varied curriculum and activities will give your child a love for learning.

TOTAL DEFENCE DAY 2023 - FEBRUARY

Total Defence Day falls on the 15 February every year and commemorates the day
colonial Singapore surrendered to Japan in 1942 during World War II. Every year
on this day we teach the little ones who protect our country, and that everyone
has a part to play to help strengthen Singapore's defences against threats and

JUNE OUTINGS 2022 - SINGAPORE SCIENCE CENTRE

Our Nursery 2, Kindergarten 1 & 2, and Student Care students visited the
Singapore Science Centre to gain new learning experiences outside of classrooms!

[FOOD ACTIVITY] EP 5: MY HEALTHY PLATE (KINDERGARTEN 2)

Our Kindergarten 2 teachers and children prepared their own lunch based on the
Healthy Plate guidelines: ¼ plate of brown rice/ wholemeal bread, ¼ plate of
meat & others, and ½ plate of fruit & vegetables. The children are encouraged to

[FOOD ACTIVITY] EP 2: GIMBAP (NURSERY 2)

Our Nursery 2 teachers and children made Gimbap, a Korean dish, in this month's
Health Curriculum theme: Nutrition. The gimbap was made with cooked rice and
ingredients such as tuna, egg omelette, cucumber, spinach and more, wrapped in

CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION 2021 - DECEMBER

NATIONAL DAY CELEBRATION 2021 - AUGUST

Happy 56th Birthday Singapore! We sang and danced along to this year's NDP song
'The Road Ahead' which our children have been practicing and absolutely love. A
very happy National Day to all our fellow Singaporeans and let us all unite as
