first session of the day covers all the skills you need to score top marks in
any exam question you meet. We look at a range of question types and provide
step-by-step guidance on how to break them down, interpret command words, and
write full-mark answers.

Harder concept sessions.
The rest of the day focuses on clearing up concepts from the most challenging
areas of your course that students often struggle with. Throughout these
sessions, we also use the exam technique skills learned in the morning to tackle
a range of difficult questions such as long answer responses, complex
calculations, and much more.

Detailed seminar booklet.
Your seminar booklet is completed throughout the day and has been expertly
designed to maximise student learning and engagement. It’s an incredible
take-home resource leading up to the exam. Plus, it’s jam-packed with extras
like mock exams and topic tests.

Personal tutor support.
Unlike any other seminar, we have additional subject specialist tutors to answer
your questions throughout the day. Students get one-to-one help via messenger on
their phone and can ask as many questions as they like. Perfect for those a tad

Max has been teaching A-level maths for 4 years and studied it at University.
From his teaching experience, he has seen all the pain points that trip students
up and knows how to deliver the material in a simple and engaging way with a
practical focus on exam technique.


MATT WILSON

Matt is our Head of Physics and is currently completing a PhD in Physics at
Oxford University. He has been tutoring and teaching Physics at A-level for the
last 4 years helping loads of students love the subject and achieve great
grades.


ALYSSA CHARLES

Alyssa is a qualified science teacher with a Master of Chemistry degree, a
Science PGCE, and a love for understanding how we learn. She has been teaching
and tutoring all three Sciences for over 5 years, and really enjoys helping
students reach their full potential.


ALEX BLAKE

Alex is a qualified teacher with a Bachelors & Masters degree in Biology and a
PGCE. He has been teaching and tutoring Biology at A-level for the last 5 years
