A senior-qualified E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Teacher (Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa & Accessible Yoga), Liagh studied & practiced with many renowned teachers over the years; from Donna Farhi to Jivana Heyman, John Scott to Amy Ippoliti, Sarah Ramsden to Nischala Joy Devi, Shandor Remete, Lalit Kumar, James Higgins & many more. Corporate/Workplace Yoga, Yoga for Runners/Athletes, Yoga Through Cancer Treatment, Gentle Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Accessible Yoga in the Community (Community Halls, Gyms & Schools), Outdoor Yoga, Online Yoga & Private (One-To-One) Yoga - Liagh is qualified to teach all such Yoga. Charity classes & events taught by Liagh include worthy charities Dublin Simon Community, the Irish Cancer Society, Barretstown, the Irish Red Cross, ARC Cancer Support, Women's Aid & more. EveryDay Yoga Ireland classes focus on the importance of learning self-awareness & self-acceptance on the mat; of letting go of tension, pressures, expectations; of harnessing the power of our breath; of engaging in mindful movement. We build strength & enhance our mobility. We relax & unwind. We enhance connection to self & to community. We have FUN. Yoga brings great cross-training benefits too. Liagh has run 3 marathons (having trained for 7, long story!) & loves cycling & hiking. She walked the full 888km Camino de Santiago in 2014, doing a lil Yoga each day along 'The Way' which greatly eased the aches & pains of that hiking odyssey, just as it does in our 'everyday' lives. Yoga helps us recover, whether from a hard session at the gym or a long hilly ride on the bike, from a long day at the desk or from a long week child-minding. It helps strengthen our core & other key muscles that we need to move comfortably & efficiently. Yoga also helps improve our balance & our breathing. Liagh has trained in & taught adaptive Yoga at two cancer support centres for several years now. Having gone through cancer treatment, she knows very well the great help it can be. As a qualified Accessible Yoga Teacher, Liagh loves being able to share Yoga's many benefits - Yoga is for ALL of us, not just the fit, young, well & wealthy. She has taught Community Yoga through both Dublin City Council Sports & Wellbeing Partnership & local Community Groups too - bringing Yoga to schools, to older adults, to communities & to people in relaxed & informal local settings. By developing a regular suitable practice, we are better equipped, on & off the mat, to go about our daily lives, feeling more centred & calm. The purpose of EveryDay Yoga Ireland is to share with people the truth that Yoga is an ‘everyday’ kind of practice - something attainable to us all, whether that is in class together or at home online, in a chair, at a desk, or outside in the fresh air. Try Yoga with EveryDay Yoga Ireland 🙏🏽. BREATH IN BREATH OUT COMPASSIONATE (OPTIONAL) COVID-19 SAFETY Even though 'official' protective measures were removed, please extend respect & courtesy for anyone who is still observing such steps - whether for themselves, loved ones or for each other in class. These include: * physical distancing in general (2m) * inputting current accurate contact details in case of contact tracing * mask-wearing - this is still the sensible kind thing to do Yogis so let's keep that going in terms of coming into/leaving class. It is as always your choice then to take your mask off when on your mat (or keep it on) CONTACT EVERYDAY YOGA IRELAND Name Email Subject Leave us a message... Thanks for getting in touch!
