SUPPORTS BY DESIGN

Supports by Design has been providing high quality home and community support to
children, adolescents, adults and seniors with disabilities since 1980.  

We have established branches in the Sunshine Coast and Rockhampton regions,
however we welcome enquiries from other areas within Queensland.  

We offer a comprehensive range of accommodation services, including Supported
Independent Living and Specialist Disability Accommodation, plus Medium- and
Short-Term Accommodation. 

 


WHY CHOOSE SUPPORTS BY DESIGN?

Our large team includes specialised workers trained to provide high-intensity
supports to individuals with complex needs. 

We are also experienced with supporting individuals who have positive behaviour
support plans and we have a demonstrated record of minimising the use of
restrictive practices. 

All of our workers receive a level of training and ongoing professional
development that exceeds industry requirements, such as Maybo training.  

We can also recruit someone that specifically meets your needs. Your level of
involvement in the recruitment process is up to you - you can be fully involved
or you can leave the whole process up to us.

Supports by Design (an IFYS Ltd initiative) is a registered National Disability
Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Service Provider (Provider number 4050007214), certified
under the Human Services Quality Framework. This means we take your rights and
needs seriously, and have policies and processes in place to protect you.

AN INITIATIVE OF IFYS

Integrated Family and Youth Service (IFYS) deliver a range of specialist support
and intervention programs for children, young people and families. Working
closely with businesses, corporations, governments and other charities we
deliver 25 separate accommodation, child protection, counseling and support
services throughout the State of Queensland.

IFYS aims to provide opportunities in accepting environments for children, young
people and families to take responsibility for their own lives and to assist
them to actively participate in the community of their choice.
