Milan VIP Group PORTFOLIO All Welding Plasma Sandblasting Perforation Galvanisation SANDBLASTING Sandblasting of metal is mechanical cleaning by the continuous impact of abrasive particles at high velocities on to the steel surface. WELDING Welding is a fabrication process whereby two or more parts are fused together by means of heat, pressure or both forming a join as the parts cool. PLASMA Plasma cutting (plasma arc cutting) is a melting process in which a jet of ionised gas at temperatures above 20,000°C is used to melt and expel material from the cut. PERFORATION Perforated sheet can range from light to heavy gauge thickness and any type of material can be perforated, such as perforated carbon steel. WELDING Both methods are commonly used to weld metals-such as thin sheets of stainless steel and aluminum. For extremely thin sheets however, TIG welding is the preferred method. MIG methods are commonly used on thicker metals like structural steel.
