GAME MAKER'S SKETCHBOOK SELECTIONS REVEALED

The Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS), iam8bit, and fortyseven (47)
communications are excited to reveal the official selections for the third year
of the Game Maker’s Sketchbook. 

The selections will be on view at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) from
Monday, March 18 to Friday, March 23, 2024 on Level 2 of the West Hall Lobby of
the Moscone Center in San Francisco, home to GDC.

The works of art are now available to view at the Game Maker’s Sketchbook online
gallery. Fans and supporters may purchase prints through the iam8bit store for a
two-week limited period, starting today and running through March 29.

2024 AIAS FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

The AIAS Foundation has opened submissions for its annual scholarship programs
benefiting students and early professionals in the video games industry. The
AIAS Foundation, WomenIn, and Girls for Gaming scholarships are provided to
talented students and early professionals who aspire to make a mark in the games
industry through their dedication, passion, and interest in pushing forward the
medium of interactive entertainment. Submissions are due May 31, 2024.

2023-2024 AIAS FOUNDATION SCHOLARS @ #DICE2024

Recently, the 2023-2024 AIAS Foundation scholars attended the 2024 D.I.C.E.
Summit for an all-expense paid trip to the annual executive leadership
conference. Before the start of the conference, the scholars were provided a day
of professional workshop training from industry experts and networking/industry
counseling sessions alongside scholars from Google and Black Voices in Gaming.
