After dealing with the turmoil irl for a while, that chapter is now close to an
ending. As such, I can finally refocus on whatever it is on this side.
1. All possible future engagements with the r/place event from the pony factions
will not happen. I will still stay in some servers where I had a better
experience last year, but I won't stay in servers where [redacted] holds any
power. And by extension, I will not join any groups or etc with the presence of
[redacted]. I do not want to engage with activities that had already introduced
me to the realm of trauma.
2. I will focus more on the development side, namely pushing forward the
development of Octavia, Ditzy, Rosegap, Scope and some other smaller projects
under Lilac. Personal passion aside, I have had much more meaningful
communications and positive drives in music, censorship circumvention,
networking, privacy and linguistics. I would be brain-dead if I directed my
passion to somewhere else.
3. I will devote myself more to the Fediverse scene. Until Mastodon and others
begin to integrate joint timelines from selected servers, Silk as a timeline
merger is still needed as a stop gap to solve the fragmentation problem. What's
more, Lavender needs attention it has been lacking since the horribly delayed
issue of Best of Fedi Pones.
4. In the meantime, if you see my name in Minecraft mods as a developer or
startup indie games as a technical consultant, don't be surprised . I'm seeking
if I can earn myself some living from the modding and game production scene, as
no one wants to employ this developer guy. So far, I have much more hope in
Minecraft Fabric modding.
