There is a white board behind the dresser. A cheap monitor magnetically attaches to the board at whatever level I need to make writing comfortable. I set the laptop brightness to zero and use Focused on the magnetic screen for distraction-free writing. I learned how to touch type in college so this set up is working out well so far.
