Dear maureen

 

Thank you so much for your generosity during last Friday’s celebration of The
Village of Hope Romania on UCB 1 and UCB 2. Together, you raised £45,527 to help
at-risk children in Romania this Christmas and beyond. What a gift to give!



As you heard on UCB 1 and UCB 2, your support is vital in continuing the legacy
of UCB Word For Today founder, Bob Gass, through The Village of Hope Romania.

 

Bob’s wife Debby works tirelessly to ensure this these children can thrive in a
caring, stable environment, after suffering unimaginable neglect and abuse in
their short lives.

 

There’s still time to be part of this life-changing work, helping traumatised
children like Adrian (his name has been changed to protect his identity).

I'll be a life-changer!

Adrian* grew up in a violent household. A few months ago, his mother survived a
brutal attack by her husband. In a fit of jealous rage, he stabbed her multiple
times, before tragically taking his own life by setting himself on fire.

 

Adrian witnessed the entire ordeal and, with his four siblings, the family needs
love and support as they repair and rebuild. Unsurprisingly, Adrian exhibits
signs of severe PTSD and fear.

 

The path to healing for this family will be long and difficult, and The Village
of Hope will be with them every step of the way. This includes immediate aid –
providing food, clothing, and medical care – as well as long-term emotional and
psychological support.

 

Children like Adrian, and so many others, can receive the Hope of Jesus thanks
to YOU.
