> BECOME A WORLD-CLASS EVERYDAY INNOVATOR  

The New York Future Skills Unlock is a highly interactive, hands-on one-day
workshop that unleashes your innovative potential. This unique learning
experience will shift your mindset, grow your innovation skill set, and help you
drive meaningful change in your organization.

We will also use New York as our laboratory with an optional evening program to
connect with the best its innovation ecosystem has offer.

By the end of the workshop you will:

 * Master core innovation skills and mindsets: From customer interviewing to
   creative brainstorming to testing new ideas, this workshop will equip you
   with transformational skills that can be immediately applied to any job role
   or industry (see agenda below). 

 * Learn the GIANT Future Skills Toolkit: We have created an easy-to-use and
   practical toolkit that distills the best thinking from a variety of
   innovation methodologies, such as design thinking, creative problem solving,
   and lean startup. 

 * Gain Insights into Transforming Others: You will leave this workshop inspired
   and prepared to inspire others. We will share our experiences from having
   worked with a wide range of Fortune 500 companies and global organizations,
   like Citi, Roche, Siemens Energy, Allianz, Walmart, and Dallas Fort Worth
   Airport. 

 * Build Your Personal Innovation Network: Connect with other workshop
   participants, as well as GIANT’s team of Innovation facilitators. All our
   facilitators are seasoned entrepreneurs and experienced educators, with links
   to top-tier institutions, such as Columbia University, Northeastern
   University, NYU, and ESMT Berlin. 


WHAT IS THE AGENDA?

During the workshop you will learn the 5 key future skill for innovation within
the GIANT Toolkit:

GIANT Skill 1: Gather 

Drawing on a design thinking approach, participants will learn a practical
framework for conducting interviews to uncover customer and stakeholder needs. 

GIANT Skill 2: Illuminate     

Using the “jobs-to-be-done” theory of innovation as a foundation, this skill
provides a powerful way to reframe customer needs and business challenges. 

GIANT Skill 3: Actualize 

Building on the latest brainstorming and neuroscience research, this skill
allows anyone to become a more creative problem solver. 

GIANT Skill 4: Navigate 

This skill teaches you how to maximize the likelihood that new concepts succeed
by using low-risk, low-resource experiments to test, learn, and iterate. 

GIANT Skill 5: Tell 

Applying the WGOCA Pitch Template, this skill helps you persuade and build
support among key stakeholders.



(Optional Evening Activity 430pm-730pm): Ecosystem Tour & Participant Dinner  

During an intimate ”Insider Dinner” we will feature an open discussion with a
few special guests from the New York innovation ecosystem.

Please note the following:

 * To keep the experience as diverse as possible, there is a limit of two
   attendees per organization.
