AS DARKNESS FALLS, THE WRAITHS SELECT THEIR VICTIM. CONCURRENTLY, THE GUARDIAN
PROTECTS, THE SEER INVESTIGATES, AND THE WITCH DECIDES WHETHER TO USE HER
PRECIOUS POTIONS.

OCCASIONALLY, A CLUE TO THE CODEX’S LOCATION IS DISCOVERED, LEADING TO PUZZLES

HOW TO ENGAGE WITH WRAITH THROUGH TELEGRAM

Joining the Game

 1. * Players are added to a Telegram group where the Wraith game will take
      place.
    
    * An admin initiates the game by typing /startgame in the group, prompting
      the @WraithGameBot to randomly assign roles to each participant. The bot
      sends a private message to each player detailing their role and powers.

Communication

 1. * Village Discussion: During the day phase, players discuss in the group
      chat who they suspect is a Wraith based on the events of the previous
      night. Each player can speak freely in the chat, propose theories, and
      make accusations.
    
    * Voting: To vote on who to banish, players use the command /vote @username
      in the group chat. The bot tallies the votes and announces who has been
      banished at the end of the day phase.

Night

 1. * Each player receives specific commands based on their role:
      
      * Guardian: /protect @username to shield a player from the Wraiths.
      
      * Seer: /investigate @username to learn if a player is a Wraith.
      
      * Witch: /poison @username or /heal @username to use a potion.
      
      * Wraiths: Conspire privately in a separate chat created by the bot to
        choose their victim and use /kill @username.
    
    * These commands are sent as private messages to the bot to maintain secrecy
      and strategy.

Ancient Codex

 1. * Clues: Occasionally, after a night phase, the bot will announce that a
      clue to the Codex’s location has been uncovered. Clues are puzzles or
      riddles posted in the group chat, and solving them requires collaboration
      and intelligence.
    
    * Acquisition: To claim the Codex, players must solve the clue within a time
      limit. The first player to correctly solve the clue by sending the
      solution to the bot using /solve [answer] secures the Codex. If the
      villagers find the Codex, they gain a significant advantage against the
      Wraiths in the next voting phase.

Special Commands

 1. * Players can query their current status or get help with commands by
      messaging /help to the bot.
    
    * The bot provides feedback after each action, confirming successful
      protection, investigation results, and the outcome of the night phase.

Game Progress

 1. * The bot updates all players in the group chat at the end of each day and
      night phase, summarizing the actions taken and revealing any changes in
      the game (such as the death of a player or the results of a banishment).

End of Game

 1. * The game concludes when either all Wraiths are banished or the Wraiths
      outnumber the villagers. The bot announces the end of the game and
      declares the winning side, providing a brief narrative closure based on
      the outcome.
