Box 7421 ~ Bloomington, IN 47407-7421 Our goal, as an organization, is to provide children and young adults the opportunity to stay involved in organized baseball while further developing both as athletes and as people. We provide a firm and supportive environment, which encourages continual learning while building self-confidence and self-esteem. We stress throughout the league the teaching of fundamentals, sportsmanship, and express the fun of the great game of baseball. In the minor division we introduce the ballplayer to a regulation field while limiting the age gap leading to a competitive and comfortable environment where the ballplayer can learn or continue to learn the finer nuances of the game. In the major division we continue to provide the recreational ballplayer and high school ballplayer alike an opportunity to continue to play the game in a fun and competitive environment. We understand that one can get caught up in the competition aspect of the sport. But, the first law of sports participation is that it is supposed to be a fun, rewarding and a learning experience. We want our players to get the most from their baseball experience. Everything we as the Officers, and hopefully everything that you do will support these goals and the mission statements of MCSLBA Baseball.
