Bell Union Auto Service is a family owned and operated Scottsdale auto repair
facility servicing the North Phoenix, Paradise Valley, Cave Creek, and North
Scottsdale neighborhood since 1989. Our friendly staff is well trained and ready
to serve you and your family’s vehicle needs. We are very proud to be a part of

If you are a single woman, what are the 5 things you hate the most?  I bet that
for most of us, having a car "problem" and having to visit a car mechanic is on
your list. I can offer you my heartfelt advice that will perhaps eliminate that
dislike.  Make an appointment to see the staff at Bell Union Auto Services.  I
had a problem and after reading reviews, made an appointment to take a leaky car
in for an analysis/repair. I have NO CLUE how cars work (other than cars need
gas and fluids, and seeing a leak is a bad thing).  The guys at Bell Union did
an analysis, could have told me anything and I would have believed them.  Here
is what they said: you do not have a leak - here is the situation.  I would have
hugged them if it were not COVID-city around here.  Will I eventually have a car
problem? Sure. Do I believe that they will give me an honest appraisal? Yes.
These are "the guys" - if you have a problem, go see them.

The other Yelp review from the woman who said she hated going to mechanics was
what pushed me over the edge to come here and I'm so glad I did.  

I am in desparate need of an oil change and last week, my dealership gave me a
list of repairs that I needed to do soon.  Bell Union changed my oil and
heartily disagreed with the dealership.  Everyone I interacted with was kind,
respectful and personable.  I hate, with a passion, going to the mechanic and I
will put it off or eventually ask my husband to do it.  Bell Union is about five
miles from my house, has a comfortable waiting area with RECLINERS and no one
said anything remotely scary to me breaking down, driving alone or any number of
the things women are likely to hear in automotive shops.  It was all around a
great experience and I'm happy to have neighborhood mechanic.

One of the most honest and reasonably priced automotive shops I have ever gone
to. They tell you exactly how they plan to fix your car and explain everything
throughly, which is great, especially being a woman. Many shops will take
advantage of women for not understanding how cars work. Not here. Don't be shy
to ask questions here. They like customers who ask questions and they don't make
you feel silly for asking.

I call this a female friendly car place and they welcome all car illiterates.

Who doesn't dread going to a mechanic? But really these guys make it painless.
They diagnosed the issue and then told me that even though my car is out of
warranty the dealer is still repairing the part for free. They could have easily
charged me for a repair, but they gave me honest information and saved me money.

On a road trip with that family and my truck started leaking coolant. Bell Union
got me right in and found the broken part. We were back on the road shortly.
They saved our spring break!! I even got a follow up message a week later making
sure we made it home. Great service- wish we had them in Colorado.

Over the holiday break at our road trip destination, my car badly needed some
care. Bell Union could make time for me the next day--so I described all the
things going wrong with the tires and misfiring engine while dropping it off.

The next morning they checked it out and called me with an estimate. Beyond the
immediate work to get it running smoother, I was told the engine block would
probably need some core work within 100k miles. I discussed the suggestions and
cost with my family, then called back to approve the work. They were done by the
end of the day, plenty of time before we needed it.

I felt WAY more secure while driving the return trip, with it running so much
better again. Bell Union saved us from slowly limping home for the holidays.

These guys are rockstars! I had a freak occurrence with rodents having
infiltrated my engine bay. They were able to replace and repair the engine
harness in 48 hrs.
