FROM TRASH TO TREASURE

As part of the GOT BAG clean-up project off the north coast of Java, Indonesia,
more than 2,500 local community members collect plastic from our ocean, coastal
waterways, mangrove forests and the delta areas of nearby rivers. The plastic
collected in the process poses no further threat to the ocean and is therefore
called Ocean Impact Plastic.

The PET portion of the Ocean Impact Plastic is cleaned, sorted and pressed into
pellets that become the raw material for all GOT BAG products. All other types
of plastic that we cannot reprocess into our own products are fed into suitable
recycling solutions. This guarantees that no plastic waste ends up in the ocean
again.

We then process the OIP pellets into a robust and tear-resistant yarn, which is
further woven into a fabric that looks & feels a lot like canvas - with a
waterproof coating on the inside and an additional water- and dirt-repellent
finish on the outside. Our coating is PFC free and therefore totally devoid of
any toxic additives.

Each GOT BAG product is a sustainable, durable, and fashionable original made
with the most durable and lightweight material recovering and recycling up to
9.9 lbs of Ocean Impact Plastic. The ultimate products for ocean dwellers and
non-ocean dwellers. And to keep our eco-footprint as small as possible, all
products are shipped CO2-neutral.
