Majority drawings we prepare in AUTOCAD, COREL DRAW and in ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR. Sometimes, we receive requests to prepare in VISIO format. And we do it. SOLIDWORKS We make 3D illustrations in minutes by using solidworks. Preparing precise illustrations to make sure there will be no technical error in the design while applying for patent application. Most of the designs we cover in autocad due to utility requirements. In case the product is complex in shape and size, the drawing work takes more time and effort accordingly. ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR SOLIDWORKS ADOBE PHOTOSHOP COREL DRAW AUTOCAD MICROSOFT VISIO TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: PHARMACEUTICAL ELECTRICAL & ELECTRONICS BIOTECH & SEQUENCE MEDICAL HIGH-TECH MECHANICAL & AUTOMOBILE NECESSARY GUIDE THESE ARE THE ERRORS IN PATENT DRAWINGS INDICATED BY THE USPTO (DRAWINGS RULE 11.13) 1. WOULD NOT BE PROPERLY DISTINGUISHABLE IN REDUCED REPRODUCTION. 7. Contain scales not represented graphically. 8. Contain numbers, letters and reference lines lacking simplicity and clarity. 9. Contain lines drafted without the aid of drafting instruments. 10. Contain disproportionate elements of a figure not necessary for clarity. 11. CONTAIN NUMBERS AND LETTERS OF HEIGHT LESS THAN 0.32 CM. 12. Contain letters not conforming to the Latin, and where customary, Greek alphabets. 13. Contain figures on two or more sheets which form a single complete figure, but which are not able to be assembled without concealing parts thereof. 14. CONTAIN FIGURES WHICH ARE NOT PROPERLY ARRANGED AND CLEARLY SEPARATED. 15. Contain different figures not numbered in consecutive Arabic numerals. 16. Contain different figures not numbered independently of the numbering of the sheets. 17. Are not restricted to reference signs mentioned in the description. 18. Do not contain reference signs that are mentioned in the description 19. Contain the same feature denoted by different reference signs. 20. Are not arranged in an upright position, clearly separated from one another. 21. Are not presented sideways with the top of the figures at the left side of the sheets. #Highlighted rules are the most common cases we get frequently. In past few years, we helped attorneys/corporates/individuals to prepare OR correct their patent drawings, resulting in saved money, time and receiving no notice (Invitation to Correct Defects in the International Application) of correction defections from USPTO PTO EPO. If this is something you’re challenged with too, please let me know and we will work together to solve this issue as quickly as possible. We have customized and FIXED/STEADY PRICING for the clients who are looking for the long-term business relationship. PATENT DRAWING SHEET MARGINS On sheets containing drawings, the surface usable shall not exceed 26.2 cm x 17.0 cm. The sheets shall not contain frames around the usable or used surface. The minimum margins shall be as follows: – Top: 2.5 Cm – Left Side: 2.5 Cm – Right Side: 1.5 Cm – Bottom: 1.0 Cm UTILITY PATENTS ILLUSTRATIONS. Utility Patent Illustrations are one of the most important elements of the patent process that improves the chances of getting patented your ideas and invention. Keeping this in mind Dessign IP came into existence and since its inception, it has been serving law firms, corporations, and independent inventors to get their ideas drawn in the paper. With a team of experts, we can help you get the exact illustration you are intending to submit to the USPTO or your respective patent office. THE FIGURE DESCRIPTIONS. The Figure Descriptions indicate what each view of the drawings represents, i.e., front elevation, top plan, perspective view, etc. Any description of the design in the specification, other than a brief description of the drawing, is generally not necessary since, as a general rule, the drawing is the design’s best description. However, while not required, a special description is not prohibited. In addition to the figure descriptions, the following types of statements are permissible in the specification: 1. A description of the appearance of portions of the claimed design which are not illustrated in the drawing disclosure (i.e., “the right side elevational view is a mirror image of the left side”). 2. Description disclaiming portions of the article not shown, that form no part of the claimed design. 3. Statement indicating that any broken line illustration of environmental structure in the drawing is not part of the design sought to be patented. 4. Description denoting the nature and environmental use of the claimed design, if not included in the preamble. THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DESIGN AND UTILITY PATENTS. A “utility patent” protects the way an object is utilized and works (35 U.S.C. 101), whereas a “design patent” protects the appearance of an article (35 U.S.C. 171). If an article’s invention is found in both its function and ornamental look, it may be granted both design and utility patents. While utility and design patents provide legally distinct protection, the utility and ornamental patents combine the two. LET US KNOW YOUR QUESTIONS AND PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK FREE QUOTATIONS.
