BUILDING A CULTURE OF RELIABILITY AND GROWTH: MERIT’S MANAGER DEVELOPMENT
PROGRAM

At Merit Logistics, one of our core beliefs is that of unmatched reliability and
consistency. We understand the significance of having a capable and experienced
management team at each of our sites. To ensure that we maintain this level of
excellence, we initiated a Manager Development program a year ago. This program
is designed to empower our employees, who are already at some level of
management, to nurture their careers and enhance their contributions to the
company.

The aims of our Manager Development program are twofold. Firstly, we want to
equip our managers with the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their
current roles. By focusing on operational efficiency, we enable them to drive
productivity, optimize processes, and ensure smooth warehouse operations. This
serves as the foundation of our commitment to reliability and consistency.

However, we also recognize the importance of leadership qualities in our
managers. That’s why our program doesn’t stop at imparting technical skills
alone. We also emphasize key leadership principles to foster a culture of growth
and success. By nurturing leaders who can inspire their teams, make informed
decisions, and cultivate a positive work environment, we strengthen our
commitment to our employees and clients alike.

The success of our Manager Development program has been inspiring. Since its
launch, we are proud to report that 18 of the last managers hired have been
internal promotions. This highlights the growth opportunities we provide to our
dedicated employees. What’s even more exciting is that over 67% of these
promotions represent a female or minority group, showcasing our commitment to
diversity and inclusion.
