Robert is a partner and Chief Financial Officer of RTW, leading the Firm
Services division responsible for oversight of all of the firm’s financial and
operating activities. He has built and developed an operations and finance team
to enable RTW’s continued growth and evolution into a global life sciences
investment firm.

Robert has extensive management and leadership experience having spent over 25
years building, servicing and managing investment companies across almost all
sectors, strategies and major geographies. Prior to joining RTW, Robert spent
six years as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at Balyasny
Asset Management, a global multi-strategy, multi-manager hedge fund. Prior to
BAM, Robert was the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for
Plural Investments, a multi-manager hedge fund that he helped launch. Robert
started his buy-side career at SAC Capital, where he built and managed all
middle and back office functions and teams globally as Director of Operations.
Robert has also served as COO, CFO, and CCO of SECOR Asset Management, and
Global Head of Operations at Avenue Capital Group. He began his sell side career
as a vice president at Goldman Sachs in their Prime Brokerage Division. Robert
started his career at Deloitte & Touche in their Financial Instruments and
Strategies Division.

Robert received a BS in Accounting from Villanova University and is a licensed
CPA. He holds certifications from University of Oxford in Executive Leadership
and from the London School of Economics in Data Analysis.
