I have 1 Vol, 1 Tone, 1 Pickup Blend, & 1. On my older Epi active basses the
knob config is a bit different. Not sure which is which, but it shouldnt be too
hard to figure out. Check out the video below and let us know what you think of
it. And for the price it sells for, you can just imagine how much it would be a
tone monster with a set of Thunderbird-shape Bartolini pickups in it. The middle
knob will be your mids, and the other two will be bass and treble. The look of
the bass is spot-on correct, so much so that it’s totally acceptable to see
Epiphone instead of Gibson on the headstock. Please view the pictures carefully

Up to now, if you wanted to apply effects to your mix you had to use Send 1,
Send 2 or both. And it really is noticeable: comparing Traktor 2 and 3 with a
track pitched down to 30 per cent and beyond, the difference is quite stark: the
sound is far less gritty and grainy and much more pleasant on the ears. While
this might not be as ‘creatively’ exciting as some of the other developments
here, it’s a big deal in terms of audio quality, especially if you’ve got Key
Lock engaged. And the first notable upgrade is that Native Instruments has
licensed the latest version of zplane’s Elastique Pro V3 time-stretching and
pitch-shifting engine. Time to stretchĪudio quality is of course a key feature
of any DJ software. The centre display panel that shows Snap, Quantize, Link and
the Master/Audio tempo have more prominence, and rightly so they’re key
components. These are much cleaner and easier on the eye, as are the individual
deck levels. The final observations on the user interface are the improvements
to both the CPU load and output levels. It’s a lot of information to take
onboard, but give it a bit of time and mixing with these larger waveforms will
become second nature. These parallel waveforms becomes more effective when you
work with four decks, stems or remix decks. It’s a welcome addition that brings
it in line with both rekordbox and Serato, although you could argue this should
have been introduced some time ago. You can zoom out to quite a distance so you
get to see most of the track as it progresses, or you can zoom right in until
you get a blur of waveforms. This basically takes the existing waveform layout

informative colour changes.

And speaking of colour, the colours used in the track waveforms look more
beautiful than ever. The Hot Cues are also far more visually appealing,
appearing as nice big blocks of colour which are each easy to recognise in terms
of their purpose (Grid, Loop, Cue etc). The Cue, Cup, Flex and Rev buttons look
bigger and easier to activate. It’s simple but effective.Īs well as this, the
layout feels far less cluttered and easier on the eye. This should help you to
quickly spot which effect you’re using and change as appropriate. When you
change from Filter to, say, Noise, the colour of the knob changes too, and it’s
a different colour for each effect. Take the Mixer FX, for example (more on
these to come). I’m very impressed with the Signposts: these are little
indicators that provide the key bits of information you need when you’re deep in
the mix.

It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s worth noting. It’s not retina-ready, however,
meaning that it won’t take full advantage of high-definition screens. It’s
darker, flatter and sharper in general. The UI feels immediately fresher and
more in line with Native’s other products such as Maschine. However, some small
yet not insignificant improvements have been made. Open up Traktor Pro 3.1 for
the first time and you’ll find that it is – in essence – the same Traktor we
know and love: browser at the bottom, decks left and right, mixer in the middle
and effects at the top.

They trickled forward slowly, spreading out. A whole load of pirate M5s, a few
M4s, an M3 and an M8 (bomber.) I nearly shit myself as the enemies came in
through the jumpgate. I just did one at the plankton plant in Kingdom's End (a
very hard one for 200k listed reward) with my Buster Vanguard and AI wingman in
a buster raider (less shields, but the speed is nice for chasing down anything
that I can't catch.) That's two M4s.

You'll need to keep them resupplied, but it's nice to see in combat. Also give
him a nice load of missiles and put their missile fire probability up to like
10-20%. That's firing 4 PACs to drop the shields, then 2 PACs and 2 IFEs to
attack the hull so they don't die to fast and they have a chance to eject.īest
things to do are grab a second combat ship to match your own (preferably a
vanguard or sentinel so your AI buddy has a good amount of shields) and make
sure his weapons are a balanced mix- otherwise he'll probably run out of energy
and be useless. With my two M4s I ended up snagging about 5-8 ships, mostly
Fujin variants and a few Raijin variants. (did an escort freighter mission and
they were doing the hokey-pokey by the exit gate, while more Yaki kept coming.
Teladi and Boron eject a lot more, as do pirates. As already stated, you won't
see many split or paranid ejecting unless you REALLY pile on the hurt. It only
takes a little bit of combat and this jumps RIGHT up.Ĥ) Pilot race. PRGs, IFEs
etc.)Ģ) Enemy ship class (you'll see more M3/4 pilots ejecting than M1 ones, for

Fast ROF, low damage weapons are nice for this so you don't blow something up as

And so, here comes Cub’s tip, TIP NUMBER FOUR: BE FLEXIBLE AND REALISTIC. Setup
a particular vacation routine that can be followed from one day to the next.īut,
we all know that routine isn’t always set in stone in normal day to day life,
let alone when we’re traveling across the country. Talk about the next day’s
itinerary to help them prepare for a new schedule. Find some things from your
normal day-to-day routine that you can keep consistent even when you’re
traveling, and stick to them as best as possible.

Our kids need some level of predictability. It becomes easy to let the kids stay
up a little bit later when you’re on vacation, but remember, they’ll wake up at
exactly the same time as usual the next morning. KBear also provides us with TIP

preparing for the trip to help your kiddos determine what will be calming and
