OVERVIEW

The term ‘creative disruption’ might have an ominous ring to it, but it’s
actually at the heart of the changes that we see around us. These changes are
brought about by the transformative work of “disruptors”, who create a necessary
inflexion point to ensure progress within their own industries and outside.
Keeping this in view, The Brand Disruption Awards will recognise those
individuals and organisations that made breakthrough changes in their domains.
The awards will felicitate visionaries, who were inspired by the corpus of
existing ideas to create a lasting impact on their contemporaries, as well as
those that are yet to come, through their thoughts and actions. In other words,
these trailblazers have managed to carry everyone along and change things for
the better. The award celebrates disruptive innovation across the full spectrum
of traditional and non-traditional domains ranging from technology, education,
healthcare, sports, fashion, banking, telecom and auto.

These disruptors could have created an impactful campaign, made crucial changes
in their organisations that improved workflow and increased profits, come up
with a product or service that was unique or made substantial improvements to
existing ones. Finally, these disruptors could also be thought-leaders who
brought about important changes in industries by proposing ideas through books
and articles that made companies rethink their old ways of functioning.
