We will bill your insurance provider for the visit. The amount you owe depends on the specific health insurance plan you have. We are in-network with most PPO and HMO plans; for a full list click here. 2. SHOULD I SIGN UP NOW, OR WAIT UNTIL I GET SICK? We recommend establishing care now, so that our team can get to know you and better care for you if something comes up. In addition, once you become a member, you’ll be able to access a provider 24/7 anytime, anywhere. Our Virtual Medical team is always available if you need advice in the middle of the night, and as a member, you can also use our mobile app to request treatment for common issues. And of course, if it’s been more than a year since your last annual physical, consider booking one with us today. This will allow you to establish care with a provider, benchmark where you are with your health and make sure you’re performing at your best. 3. I’M ALREADY A ONE MEDICAL MEMBER - WILL I GET REIMBURSED FOR MY MEMBERSHIP? Yes. If you have questions or need help, email hello@onemedical.com. 4. MY COMPANY EXTENDS THE ONE MEDICAL BENEFIT TO SPOUSES AND/OR DEPENDENTS, HOW DO THEY REGISTER? Spouses and dependents can follow the same activation instructions as you did. Your partner and/or dependents will need to register as individuals, which creates their personal medical charts. You can help your eligible dependents set up their account, but they will need to accept the terms of service themselves. 5. CAN I VISIT ANY ONE MEDICAL OFFICE? You can access any of our offices and see any available provider, according to your needs, availability, and preferences. Because your electronic medical records can be accessed anywhere, your care will be coordinated seamlessly. When traveling, you also have access to any of our offices across the country. 6. WHAT HAPPENS TO MY ONE MEDICAL MEMBERSHIP IF I LEAVE MY COMPANY? The employer sponsored membership is only available to employees of select organizations. If you leave your company, you’ll receive an email from One Medical alerting you that your employer-sponsored membership will be ending.
