and tons of torque. Once you learn the regen mode, it allows you to move like

does not allow for correct chain alignment. And so my chain was strained when
shifting to the lowest gears. The Luna eclipse 42T fixes this problem! I can

I feel I have more granular control with right hand and half twist throttle
grip. Thumb throttle on left side especially just felt awkward and imprecise.
Thumb may be easier to hold down on full for extended periods for those who
don't pedal much perhaps due to medical issues. Otherwise, twist on the right
is, for me, so much more comfortable and easier to control. Shipping from
Luna was fast and uneventful. They be good outfit, good people.

I ordered the bike yesterday and forgot to sign in to my account before doing
so. So far customer service has been pretty darn good at getting back to me
in a timely fashion and was able to help me out by attaching my purchase to
my verified account here at Luna. Major props and huge shoutout to customer
service! You guys have been stellar, especially dealing with me being an
nervous wreck, asking a bazillion questions and just being annoying im sure.
I thank you for your patience, and professionalism in that regard. That truly
goes a long way with us customers im sure im speaking for a lot of us there.
I will update this review has time goes on but so far so good. I am from
INDIANA and will fill everyone in on shipping times, packing, first test

I've owned my Surron for a little over a year now and have put 6000+ miles on
it. It is extremely fun, and I can not recommend it enough! I have some
helpful tips for you: - The saddle is a back breaker. I highly recommend the
Luna float saddle. - The stock footpegs are garbage. I recommend Warp 9
footpegs. They are nice and large. - Get a footpeg bracer. If you take a
spill without one, you may have to replace the part the pegs attach to. - The
stock hardware is cheap. BE CAREFUL NOT TO STRIP BOLTS OR CROSSTHREAD! Go to
a dept. store and get some replacement bolts. - Absolutely tighten ALL
hardware on the bike (carefully) after a few test rides. I had to do this 2-3
times before everything was "set". I lost a screw on my handlebar mount after
a bumpy offroad ride, because I neglected to tighten that area. -Make sure
your primary belt is not too tight or loose when receiving the bike. You
don't want to snap it as you have to really pull the bike apart to replace
it. (Upgrade when you eventually have to do this) - If you plan to do a lot
of offroad riding, clean the primary belt area often. Loose gravel or brush
can get logged in it and really accelerate the destruction of your primary
belt. Or, consider going with the new Talaria as they have an enclosed
primary gear system that just needs oil added, as compared to an exposed
belt. - turn off the braking regen. The technology isn't far enough along to
be useful as of now, and you will get more distance with it turned off
(unless you're in a very mountainous area with lots of hills) - Keep your
battery stored with a 60-80% charge for longevity. - Do not overcharge the
battery. Unplug it at 100%, even if it's still charging. This can cause the
cells to swell and can reduce longevity. - Make sure your wheels are trued
and balanced. Both my stock wheels and supermoto wheels ordered from Luna
arrived unbalanced and untrue. It is best to pay a professional at an MX shop
to do this. Costs around 100 bones. It is not safe to ride on unbalanced
wheels. - Loosen or remove the kickstand sensor. If you don't, it may seem
like you're having electrical issues at times when the key is on and the bike
won't move or just seems to "die" while you're cruising... It's usually that
sensor that's the culprit. - Upgrade your tires. - The 16" Supermoto wheelset
makes wheelies a breeze. - Be respectful while riding so as to not give these
machines a bad name. - Most importantly - Wear a helmet. They've saved my
life on 3 separate occasions. Enjoy the ride!

Easily one of the best decisions I've made when it comes to buying something
for my ebike. I was apprehensive about spending $350 or half what I did on
the bbshd kit just for a controller but man the difference is staggering, it
was hard to believe it was still a bbshd. Luna really should start selling
these with every bbshd kit. The power is insane, I run 52v 65A right now due
to battery limitations and it's already crazy powerful, power wheeling at
15mph and I've pulled the wheel up at 30mph, I couldn't even wheelie before
with a stock controller unless from a stop. The tunability from the app is
great for making changes on the fly and viewing all the information you could
want. Top speed in every gear replaced, 3rd went 18mph before now does 33mph.
A noticeable increase in range due to higher efficiency. And it's a very easy
install mounting right where the stock controller would be, plug and play. I
can't wait to try a 72v battery with it to really unleash the power, if you
have the chance to buy one DO IT!
