Title: The Honjin Murders

By Seishi Yokomizo

Translated by Lousie Heal Kawai

Pages: 189

ISBN: 978-1-78227-500-8

Publisher: PushkinPress.com

"Set in 1937, a sleepy village town in Japan becomes the scene of a bizarre
crime.

The wedding of a local landlord who is a relative of the local hotel which was
famous for being a stop for feudal lords on the way to Tokyo to pay respects to
the emperor creates a buzz that is soon hushed.

The spying of a mystery visitor prior to the wedding who has only three fingers
and a strange appearance gets the locals gossiping wildly with suspicion.

Amateur detective Kosuke Kindaichi is called to investigate.

What will he find?"
