                <p tabindex="0">This error generally is related to a user being a member of too many groups (often 100’s). The recommended resolution is to submit a service desk ticket to clear out old groups.</p>
                <p tabindex="0" rotor-grid-margin-top="xl" rotor-grid-margin-bottom="lrg"><b>What should I do if I receive a "FORBIDDEN" error message?</b></p>

What should I do if I receive “This field is required” for the email field?

This error message typically means that the user has entered a password but has
not entered their username yet.

What should I do if I receive “This field is required” for the password field?

This error message typically means that the user has entered a username but has
not entered their password yet.

What should I do if I receive “We didn’t recognize the username and password you
entered. Please try again.”?

Generally, this means that the username and password that has been entered is
invalid. To resolve this the user should check for typos in both the username
and password.

What should I do if I receive an “Unable to authenticate” error message?”

This error indicates there is an issue with your LDAP profile. Please contact
the service desk.

What should I do if I receive an error stating “431 reason request header fields
too large”?

This error generally is related to a user being a member of too many groups
(often 100’s). The recommended resolution is to submit a service desk ticket to
clear out old groups.

What should I do if I receive a "FORBIDDEN" error message?

Clear the browsing data in your web browser (history, cache, cookies, etc.),
close and re-open the web browser and try again. If the issue persists, contact
the service desk.

What should I do if I am having trouble completing the Multi-factor
Authentication (MFA) setup or login?

Refer to the quick reference guide that was provided during account
provisioning. If additional assistance is required, please contact the service
desk and provide your LDAP ID and the MFA service you are utilizing. For
internal users this is generally SafeNet / MobilePASS and for external users
this is generally PingID.

WHAT IS THE EXTERNAL MILITARY ENGINES PORTAL?

The Portal is a secure site hosting a number of Electronic Tools used to support
our engines, customers and business.


TO ACCESS THE PORTAL:
