Our application process is intense. All candidates must have at least a
bachelor's degree in music and 5 years of teaching experience. If they’re
invited for an interview, they attend a three-stage interview process, and must
pass a thorough background check. Of 900 candidates, only 0.5% have been offered
positions.




EASY SCHEDULING

Most music studios are working in the dark ages with physical calendars and cash
payments. Maestro maintains updated online calendars using Calendly, so you can
easily schedule lessons whenever it's convenient for you.




MORE THAN JUST LESSONS

In-person music studios might include a semi-annual recital, if you’re lucky.
Maestro members gain all-inclusive access to monthly masterclasses (and our
library of past masterclass recordings), quarterly synchronous recitals,

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

ARE ONLINE LESSONS WORTH IT?

We’ve found that online lessons are actually more effective than in-person
lessons. Rather than spending several minutes tuning up and preparing in the
lesson room, online students are asked to have their instrument and lesson
materials ready to go when their online lesson starts. Plus, many of our
students spend the time they would be commuting before/after lessons to
practice.

DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK FOR YOUNG CHILDREN?

We typically recommend that kiddos are at least 6 years old when they’re
enrolled, but some students have had success with online lessons as young as 5.
The free trial is a great opportunity to see how well online lessons will work
for your family.

CAN KIDS STAY FOCUSED DURING ONLINE LESSONS?

Maestro teachers use a variety of strategies to make lessons fun and engaging.
Lessons are never a lecture, and our students are leaders in their education. 

I'M INTERESTED, BUT WHAT IF THEY DON'T WORK?

We offer a free trial lesson to ensure that your internet capacity is
sufficient, that your kiddo enjoys the online format, and that your teacher is a
great fit for your family.

ARE ONLINE TEACHERS QUALIFIED

Our teachers meet the most rigorous qualifications. While Maestro teachers are
required to have at least a bachelor's degree in music and 3+ years of teaching
experience, many have master’s and doctorate degrees and decades of experience
teaching. All hired teachers must pass through several interviews, a mock lesson
exam, and a thorough background check. As a bonus, most of our teachers have
professional experience performing.

HOW MUCH ARE LESSONS?

Pricing is subscription based:

$150/month for 30 minute weekly lessons 

$280/month get's you 60 minute weekly lessons

$360/month get's you 90 minute weekly lessons
